Day 2 in the saddle en route to Paris

Day 2 and with the London to Brighton run behind us, we are just about to disembark from the Newhaven to Dieppe ferry.

The first day saw Sam and Chris did 72 miles and another quick 14 this morning in the driving rain to catch the ferry. They seem to be looking forward to the next leg, which is 35 miles of mostly bike track Avenue Verte, which they hope will be much less hilly than the approach to the English coast.

I am looking forward to getting off this ferry, which seems to be exclusively for families with loud, unheeding children.
