This is fun! Isn't it?

We've had enough of this rain so hubby and I have thrown the kids into the car and we are driving to Spain for sun, sea and Sangria.

Driving through the night we hope to get as far as Toulouse by breakfast. We did something similar last year, right at the end of the Summer when accomodation is much cheaper and blighty's soggy summer offering has lost its comedy value. All you have to do is book the tunnel and leave in advance and make the rest up as you go along. Last year we got as far as the Dordognee which was nice but not hot enough we felt, so Spain it is!

We have put third born in the very back of the car and the boys in the middle seperated by a wall of bags to stop them fighting. They have, however taken to shoving the bags at each other to ensure territorial supremancy (its a guy thing), so I'm not sure how clever we have been. Hubby meanwhile keeps saying cheerfully but with increasing menace,'This is fun isn't it?' In truth he loves driving his car, a Land Rover, which I like to refer to as The Beast, just to keep things in perspective.

When he was very little and thoroughly fed up with me being on my mobile, first born, Joe, threw it in Barnes Pond. That showed me. I have been emailing for the last eight hours so when the SEL team get on line today they will find hundreds of messages from me, so they might be motivated to do something similar when I get back. Got to go now, I'm up for the driving seat. Adios!
